Scotland have managed to defeat Italy in their Rugby World Cup Pool C clash last night. The match was the most closely contested of the whole tournament so far. Scotland won the game on pure penalty kicks alone - even though Italy managed to score a try. Scotland are now runners up of Pool C and have qualified for the quarter finals of the Rugby World Cup 2007.

Fiji have defeated Wales to qualify from Pool B. Fiji are now the runners up of Pool B at the Rugby World Cup 2007. The next match for Fiji will be South Africa Vs Fiji in the quarter-finals of the Rugby World Cup 2007.

Australia have qualified from Pool B in the Rugby World Cup after a victory over Canada earlier today. Australia were on the scoreboard within the second minute from a penalty kick by Julian Huxley. The Wallabies have qualified as winners of Pool B in the Rugby World Cup 2007 and will play the quarter-final match Australia Vs England on 6 October at the Velodrome.

New Zealand have defeated Romania in Romania’s Final Rugby World Cup 2007 Pool stage match. Romania had already been knocked out of the Rugby World Cup 2007 before the start of the game. A strong New Zealand All Blacks team showed no mercy to Romania. New Zealand qualify as winners from Pool C with a maximum of 20 points and are in the quarter-finals of the Rugby World Cup 2007.

Argentina have announced their 22 man squad that will take on Ireland in their Rugby World Cup 2007 Final Pool D match on Sunday. The match will be the decider of who qualifies from Pool D - The group of death. Argentina have won all 3 of their games so far but Ireland will be hoping to cause an upset.

The USA Eagles have announced their starting 15 man lineup for their match USA Vs South Africa on Sunday 30 September. The match will be the Rugby World Cup final Pool stage match and at after it, all 8 teams that will progress to the quarter finals will be known.

Georgia have announced their final starting lineup that will play in Georgia Vs France in their final Pool D match at the Rugby World Cup 2007. The selected side is very similiar to the team that beat Namibia 30-0 last week.

England have managed to qualify from Pool A in their final Rugby World Cup 2007 Pool A match against Tonga. The match would decide whether which team would qualify for the qaurter final stages, and it was the defending Champions’ England who came out on top. England will not play against Australia in the quarter final stages of the Rugby World Cup 2007.

The South African Springbok team has been announced for their final Rugby World Cup 2007 Pool A match against the USA Eagles on Sunday. The match will see the return of Schalk Burger. Francois Steyn will also be in the starting lineup following his clearance from the hearing yesterday.
