Australia Spoil Party In Cardiff

The Australian Wallabies defeated The Red Dragons in Cardiff this afternoon. The home advantage for Wales in their Rugby World Cup clash, played no part in giving the Red Dragons the upper hand.

A full capacity of 74,500 fans turned out at the millennium stadium, with the larger majority supporting their home team: Wales. Australia were the team that got on the scoreboard first and caught Wales sleeping. The win from Australia was far from convincing and it seems like this Rugby World Cup 2007 might just be a two-team affair, with only New Zealand and South Africa really looking impressive. Australia did receive a bonus point for their efforts, as they managed to score 4 tries.
