Ireland Struggle To Hold Off Defiant Georgia

Ireland have managed to defeat Georgia in their Pool D clash in Bordeaux. Georgia refused to give up and kept attacking Ireland all game, who held off attack after attack.

Georgia seemed to be the team on the day, but it was Ireland who finished on top. Georgia received a bonus point from the game, with the final score being within a difference of 7 points.

A brilliant display by Georgia, who refused to give up, and gave Ireland a good run for their money. Ireland will have to pick up their gameplay if they want to offer any resistance against France on Friday.

What a brave performance by the Georgians. Salute them. I was hoping for them to do something but I did not expect anything like that. Had they beat the Irish, it would have been a huge boost for my favourite team, the Los Pumas :-)

Georgia can play rugby well, but they need more games against big teams. It will be very good that 6 nations to perform 8 nations + Georgia & Romania, and then these 2 countries with real men & hearts will play a rugby very well, then I believe they could beat the big teams.

What is the matter with the Irish Squad? If they carrying on playing the way they are, they will not progress at all and they have the talent to do so!! It was embarrassing watching the match against Georgia and Georgia were the better side!!!

Come on lads. Remember Croke Park against England?
