Biggest Bet in Rugby World Cup History - 4.2 Million USD on The All Blacks

With all eyes on The All Blacks in this Rugby World Cup, the world’s number 1 rugby team have got another special pair of eyes on them. An unnamed man has reportedly bet 4.2 Million US Dollars on New Zealand to win the Rugby World Cup 2007.

The bet is reportedly said to originate from an anonymous person from New Zealand, however no names, or country of origin have officially been announced.

The bet of 4.2 Million USD is the biggest bet in Rugby World Cup history from any individual.

New Zealand have received a maximum of 15 points in total by winning all 3 of their first 3 games with a bonus point from each. New Zealand will play against Romania next in New Zealand Vs Romania on 29 September.

The New Zealand All Blacks will face either France or Argentina in the quarter finals -where the knockout stages begin.

The man who has bet $4.2 Million USD stands a chance of winning back roughly $6.5 Million -a $2.3 Million profit.
