England Vs France Semi-Final Northern Hemisphere Rugby

With all the talk at this years Rugby World Cup 2007 revolving around the 4 Southern Hemisphere rugby nations - it has been the northern hemisphere teams that have surprised everyone. England and France have done all the hard work to knock out two of the strongest teams from the Southern Hemisphere.

Update: England Vs France Live Score
If you are looking for the England Vs France Football highlights and live score at footyplay.com - they will have Euro 2008 information aswell.

England played a superb game on Saturday to defeat the Wallabies at the Velodrome. The victory for England came as a big shock to everyone since they had lost 36-0 to the Springboks in the pool stages of the Rugby World Cup 2007. Meanwhile Australia were looking as strong as ever - being undefeated in the group stages and winning their pool with 4 bonus points from each game.

England were just the better team on the day, and it wasn’t just Jonny Wilkinson this time, as he missed quite a few penalty kicks - something we don’t see very often.

France took on the giants - The All Black’s who weren’t looking the same on the day, being forced to play in a silver gray kit definitely had an effect on their mindset.

France had a bad start and it seemed as though New Zealand would cruise the game home, but things changed quickly in the second half - when France managed to score two tries, the second of which was clearly a forward pass, but was not seen by the match referee.

So both England and France from the northern hemisphere will meet each other in the semi-final England Vs France and in the second semi-final we see both southern hemisphere teams - South Africa Vs Argentina in their Semi-Final clash.

These two matches will lead to a Rugby World Cup final between a Southern and Northern hemisphere rugby nations - the judgment day of the hemispheres!

Menwil, I rate the score wil maybe be a what, 36/0 - to South Africa - I mean, The English have their T-Shirts made for a 0/36 loss..

Bokke rule guys, they definately got The Webb Ellis on the way back to South Africa!!

Greg, I tend to agree with you on The Webb Ellis. England is a strong team so I do not foresee zero points for them, but they will not beat South Africa. But as they say, the proof is in the pudding or it is not over untill the fat lady strikes!!

england is the most boring side in world rugby–absolutely no flare.

france on the other hand, has tonnes of flare but are probably the dumbest game tacticians on the face of the planet.

two nations (even though England has (yawningly) won 1 world cup who are chronic underachievers

and finally, in ther recent 6 nations why the hewll is france playing a kicking game when france is all about running and flare.

    I am disgusted!
