The Rugby World Cup newcomers have ended their Rugby World Cup 2007 campaign with a loss in their final match against Romania earlier this evening. Portugal were leading all the way through until the last ten minutes.
Portugal - a team made up of players who have day jobs and play Rugby as a hobby, will be extremely happy with their performance at their first Rugby World Cup and we will definately see more of them in future Rugby tournaments.

Romania have announced their 15 man starting lineup squad that will play against Portugal on Tuesday. The Pool C match will be played in Toulouse.

New Zealand have defeated The Wolves of Portugal in their Rugby World Cup Pool C clash at Lyon this afternoon. The game started very slow, and although the All Blacks had put a massive score on the board, their performance did not seem amazing. Nevertheless, the All Blacks secured their bonus point and managed a century of points within 80 minutes.

The New Zealand All Blacks have announced their 15 man starting side to take on Rugby World Cup newcomers -Portugal, on Saturday the 15th of September at the Stade de Gerland the stadium in Lyon. Coach Graham Henry has made 11 changes to the side that crushed Italy over the weekend.

Scotland gave Rugby World Cup newcomers a wake-up call, earlier this evening, as Scotland move to the top of Pool C, next to New Zealand.
The game started with Portugal managing to keep up to Scotland. Once the second half began, it seemed as though experience played the biggest factor with Scotland running away with the match. Portugal can be proud of their first performance ever at a Rugby World Cup 2007 competition.
