England have managed to qualify from Pool A in their final Rugby World Cup 2007 Pool A match against Tonga. The match would decide whether which team would qualify for the qaurter final stages, and it was the defending Champions’ England who came out on top. England will not play against Australia in the quarter final stages of the Rugby World Cup 2007.

Tonga have announced their 15 man starting lineup that will play in the Rugby World Cup match: Tonga Vs England on Friday 28 September. The match will decide whether Tonga or England qualify from Pool A and go through to the quarter finals. Tonga have put on a great performance so far in the Rugby World Cup and will definately believe they are capable of beating the reigning Champions on Friday.

The England team that will take on Tonga in their Rugby World Cup Pool A deciding match on Friday 28 September has been announced. The match means everything for both teams, as the winner will go through to the quarter final knockout stages.

The South African Springboks narrowly scraped through for a victory over Tonga today in their Rugby World Cup 2007 clash. Jake White put on his second team side for the Springboks, but when things weren’t going their way he quickly called up all his strong players from the bench to help the Springboks come up with a result against Tonga.

Tonga have caused a major upset at the Rugby World Cup 2007. Today they managed to overturn the game against Samoa after being down at the start of the second half. Tonga managed to defeat Samoa in an amazing performance in Montpelier.

Tonga have made an impact on their first game of the Rugby World Cup 2007. Tonga beat the USA Eagles earlier today at the Stade de la Mosson. Although Tonga were only one try away from a bonus point, they managed a convincing win over the Eagles in the Pool A clash. The final score of the game was Tonga 25-15 USA Eagles.

With the IRB Rugby World Cup 2007 almost a week away, the final World Rugby Rankings have been updated, and will remain as they are going into the World Cup.
With all the Rugby World Cup warm up games happening in the past few weeks, the rankings have been changing. The most notable change in the final list is Ireland who move from 6th to 5th, overtaking the Los Pumas of Argentina.
The New Zealand All Blacks remain on top, followed by the Wallabies and then host nation France in 3rd. The Springboks who are tipped off as second best favourites to win the Webb Ellis Cup, are in 4th place.
