Match Summary: Everyone was expecting the World Number 1 Team: The All Blacks, to come out and put a double digit score on the scoreboard within the first 3 minutes, but that wasn’t the case on the day. The All Blacks got off to a slow start with what some might see as a “second-team” side from Graham Henry. Joe Rokocoko scored an amazing try in the third minute, which could not be converted by Nick Evans. After 12 minutes New Zealand really started gaining momentum. But the biggest cheer from the 41,000 fans came from the magnificent drop goal by Portuguese player Goncalo Malheiro in the 22nd minute. An all round good performance by New Zealand who secured their bonus point, and reached a score of over 100 points. Portugal will be happy that they at least managed to score some points against the world’s number 1 rugby team.
